Abstract

Mechanics is the science that studies the motion of an object and the effects of forces on the motion of that object. And the branch of mechanics is divided into two; Static Mechanics and Dynamic Mechanics, while Dynamic Mechanics can be divided into two, namely Kinematics and Kinetics (dynamics). The main focus of applied mechanics is the application of equilibrium and forces in engineering, especially in the fields of Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering. By knowing Mechanics, of course in our daily practice we can develop and apply balance and force, and at least we know that this is part of the engineering field. Without knowing Mechanics and trying to apply it in our activities, we are running away from the path of Engineering. Keep using Mechanics while we study and work in Engineering.
