The leadership style carried out by the Leaders at PT XY in handling UMKM during the Covid-19 pandemic, moves and directs the organization in achieving goals and at the same time understanding each employee's different work behavior.
The leadership style at PT XY is good, where the leadership style used is Situational leadership style where a leader can adjust their leadership style according to the needs of the team or work environment. Leaders can also influence others, for example, when employees disagree with the leader, the leader can explain very carefully and patiently so that employees can understand the intentions of a leader, as well as when the leader directs employees personally or during office meetings. Leaders are very able to keep their emotions well, for example when employees do not carry out the directions that have been notified, then the leader re-explains the directions personally or in groups not in a hurry, so employees will feel safe and comfortable when listening to the directions given. Likewise, employees at PT XY can quickly follow directions given by the leader because the leader also has authority when speaking.
Through situational leadership used by PT XY leaders which has been carried out well, this has an impact on the attitudes and behavior of PT XY employees who increasingly feel they have a responsibility to carry out the vision and mission of PT XY which are instilled by the company leaders themselves, so that the vision and mission will be carried out effectively.
