Sistem Kearsipan Bagian Tata Usaha pada Balai Pengembangan Kompetensi Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) Wilayah I Medan

Abstract

The archival system is the most important part of administrative activities that should receive primary and first attention. The archival system is considered important because archives that are memory, reference materials, and also accountability materials must be managed and maintained intact. It is also mandated in Law Number 43 of 2009 that archives must be managed and saved by the State. The purpose of this Final Project research is to find out how the "Archival System of the Administrative Section at the Balai Pengembangan Kompetensi PUPR Wilayah I Medan". The type of data used by this study is qualitative because the author explains a phenomenon by collecting data that shows the importance of depth and detail or the data studied. The data source used is primary data because the author conducts research and collects data directly from the main source, the data collection techniques that the author uses are observation, literature studies, and documentation. The subject of this study is the Balai Pengembangan Kompetensi PUPR Wilayah I Medan. The results of this study show that the archival system at the Balai Pengembangan Kompetensi PUPR Wilayah I Medan is already running well.  The types of archives used are dynamic and static archive types, and the archival system is combined using alphabetical systems, subject systems, and number systems.
