Improving Students’Learning Outcomes By Using Wallchart Media in Writing Narrative at Grade VII SMP Negeri 4 Stabat Academic Year 2021/2022

Abstract

The type of the research is classroom action research (CAR). The purpose of this research is to find out the implementation of learning and improvement of student learning outcomes by using Wall Chart media in writing narrative text in the seventh grade of SMP Negeri 4 Stabat for academic year 2021/2022. The subjects of this study were 7th grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Stabat and the object of this study was improvement of learning by using Wall Chart media in writing narrative text in 7th grade SMP Negeri 4 Stabat  for academic year 2021/2022 . Based on the research that has been carried out, it is found that the implementation of learning activities for teachers has 72.22% good criteria and the results of the implementation of learning activities for students have 70 good criteria. Classical completeness was obtained from 24 students who completed 22 (91.6%) and 2 students who did not complete (8.3%), so that the learning outcomes were classically complete. And the average value of students is 78.75%.Thus, the implementation of learning has good criteria and improves learning outcomes using Media Wall Charts in writing narrative texts in the 7th grade of SMP Negeri 4 Stabat for academic year 2021/2022 .
